Learn About the Old West

My kids had a great time at this event a few years ago. It's super for elementary ages.

Please see below for info on an opportunity to learn about the Old West. This is for homeschoolers and they are looking to fill up one of the sessions.

Here is a description from the link:

Hands-on camp includes 4 stations where students will learn about life during the time of the Texas Cattle Drives and interact with costumed characters such as: a Cook, a "Trail Boss", a Cowboy, the first female rancher, a Texas Ranger, Trapper, etc. The session open session is at 12:45 PM on November 13th, 2009. It will last one hour.
For more information about the program go here

The 10 and 11:15 AM are booked solid.

Interested parents can call or email me (contact info listed below). First come, first serve. The cost is $6/student. Participants should plan to arrive at least 15 minutes before their scheduled session time (i.e. 12:30 for the 12:45 session) so the kiddoes can be properly oriented on the camp and any rules.

The camp will be held at the Hall of State in Fair Park , 3939 Grand Avenue , Dallas , Texas 75210 .
