In honor of Veterans Day the Dallas Public Library cordially invites you to a special A Night Out @ Central program, "The Doolittle Tokyo Raid: America's First Offensive Action of World War II," on Thursday, November 12th from 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm on the first floor of the J. Erik Jonsson Central Library.
Discover how the mission was conceived, planned, how the crews were selected, how the crews trained for the mission and how the mission was carried out. Learn what happened to all sixteen crews after bombing Japan and the price the Chinese paid for helping the Raiders.
