PLEASE HELP ME SPREAD THIS NEWS TO YOUR HOMESCHOOL FRIENDS ABOUT AN INCREDIBLY AFFORDABLE OPPORTUNITY:
What can $40 buy at a ski resort? Maybe a sweatshirt or a pair of wool socks-- on sale. But what can $40 get you at Snow Mountain Ranch near beautiful Winter Park, Colorado?
A whole week of activities for your entire family if you join us for the Homeschool Winter Week, February 21 - 26, 2010.
Here's what you'll get: one Nordic (cross country) "Learn to Ski" package per family member, guided snowshoe hikes, ice skating, tubing/sledding, one climbing wall session per family member, outdoor education classes like Winter Ecology and Winter Survival, winter carnival activities, team building activities, s'mores around the campfire, and more.
If you still have the energy, you can swim in the indoor pool or for a small fee make something cool in the craft shop. There will also be nightly activities like movies and games.
With two downhill ski resorts just minutes from SMR, your family members who want an even bigger rush can hit the slopes. Winter Park is about fifteen minutes away, and family-friendly Sol Vista is about a seven minute drive. This will be an additional cost.
Lodging is $74 a night in the Silver Sage Lodge which sleeps six and $99 a night in the Indian Peaks Lodge which also sleeps six and has a mini-fridge. Cabins with kitchens are also available.
There is a cafeteria and a restaurant called the Buckboard Grill on site. There are two large grocery stores nearby if you want to save money and prepare your own food.

And while I have your attention, mark your calendars for our fifth annual Homeschool Family Camp at SMR August 15 - 20, 2010. More information will follow in January. See photos at www.homeschoolfamilycamp.blogspot.com or become a friend of Snow Mountain Ranch Homeschool Family Camp on Facebook.
On a personal note, we've been going to Snow Mountain Ranch almost twenty years, sometimes even twice a year because our kids love it so much and it's so affordable. It will be a week your children will always remember. Please think about joining us.
Sincerely,
Kristi Coleman
