To visit the museum or planetarium will cost extra at the school rate.
Museum: additional $5 for children (3-12), $10 adults
Planetarium: additional $2.50 children (3-12), $4.50 adults
Planetarium times available are 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. These shows book fast so the deadline for the planetarium is Thurs., Mar. 18. Even then, I can't guarantee that it won't already be filled up. Deadline for movie and museum visits is Wed., Mar. 31.
Below is a description of the film and a "clip 'n' mail" form for you to fill out and attach your payment. Please fill out completely and mail the form, especially if you want to go to the planetarium. Address is on form below. I will also have a drop-off envelope at co-op after Spring Break.
Only fully paid reservations will have confirmations.
Lewis & Clark: Great Journey West
At dawn of our nation, two courageous captains of the U.S. Army led a mission of 31 explorers from the mouth of the Mississippi River to the Pacific Ocean and back. Meriwether Lewis and William Clark pushed their Corps of Discovery --which included a heroic Native American woman, Sacagawea, and her infant son -- to the limits of endurance. Theirs was a grueling journey through thick forests and raging rapids, over towering peaks and plunging precipices. It was a treacherous 8,000-mile trek that was survived thanks to the grace and generosity of the Native Americans who inhabited this unmapped land.
