Family Music Theatre (FMT) proudly presents Andrew Lloyd Webber's Cats in the Performance Hall at Cedar Valley College (CVC), 3030 N. Dallas Avenue in Lancaster.
Tickets are $10 for adults, $6 for seniors (age 55+) and $5 for children (ages 4-12) and are available in advance at the CVC Business Office, Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. or by calling 972.860.2994. For more information, please call 972.860.7444, ext. 9302.
Based on T.S. Eliot's Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats, Webber's musical has become one of the world's best known and most loved theatrical productions. A tribe of cats gathers in a junkyard for the Jellicle Ball. The members celebrate their special abilities and unique personalities in the process of selecting one cat to go to the "Heavyside Layer."
Director Dr. Sam Germany interprets themes of identity and redemption amidst all the revelry. Since its 1981 debut, Cats has been produced in more than 20 countries and has been translated into 10 languages
