Please join us in the Children’s Center at the Downtown Dallas Library for a 2-day knitting workshop on Thursday and Friday, March 18 and 19 at 2:00 pm. Join experienced knitter Katy Herrick for a fun and informative program on learning to knit! She will demonstrate the basics and give out directions and patterns to take home. Materials will be provided, or you can bring your own knitting needles and yarn. No registration is required, and you are welcome to attend both days of the workshop or either day separately.
This program will probably last about an hour, and will be most appropriate for ages 6 and up.
Please note that this program will take place during DISD Spring Break and is open to homeschoolers as well as school children, and will be held in the Children's Center of the J. Erik Jonsson Central Library, 1515 Young St , Dallas , TX . Please join us for this fun and educational program in our temporary space on the first floor of the Central Library.
